Scrapbook & Card Sketch Challenge

I found i had some time today, so headed on in to my cave to play, I picked a challenge from the Scrapbook & Card Challenge Blog themed with a sketch, they said you could do either a card or a layout so i did both lol

My card is an 8 x 8 blank using some pretty vintage papers from my stash, i added some doileys and pretty flowers with added sparkle and wallah .. I am quite pleased with the finished product hope you like it too :)

 Next i dug a couple of old photo#'s out from back in 2006 of the kids having fun one Christmas.

Vintage Layouts

Good afternoon Bloggers, I have been noticeably missing in action latley, i do appologise but i have tons going on here :( I will still blog as i can though :D

I found some time this week to play, and have created two vintage scrapbook layouts, the first one of my mum in her youth, i used the Southern Comfort range from Dragons Lair Designs

and finished it with lace and flo0wers from my stash.

This layout again is of family members, one being my godmother :D for this one i used Sitting Pretty again from Dragons Lair Designs and finished it again with flowers and lace from my stash.

Scraplift Challenge at Stamping Dragon Designs Facebook Group

The year 2014 see's our challenges starting up again, with a new scrap booking challenge debuting with a Scrap lift, the layout this month was a two pager but i decided to only use one half .

I used Dragons Lair Designs Beatrice Digi Kit, with some lace, ribbons and epoxy flowers from my stash, I love the vintage feel of this kit, and how you can just print what you need as you need it.

The challenge this time around is Buttons & Bows Its my Birthday today too so a double celebration :) and here is my Button & Bows Card.

This time around i decided not to use a digital stamp and went for Mini kit in store, it has some Vintage papers and elements, you can check it out in store Here - Lost  Found Treasures Mini Kit

I used the Floral design that is supplied in the pack, and two of the vintage papers.

Weekly Insperation Project - Vintage

This week we went vintage, now i am sure you know this already but i Lurvvveee Vintage :) i chose the border from the pack and used it as a pocket on my Journal page, There is a YouTube Video on how it was put together, you can see it at the bottom of the post.

This is the pack we were given to work with Vintage Cluster Pack 1 its gorgous even if i say so myself lol :)

Stamping With The Dragon Challenge - One Colour

The challenge this time around is ONE COLOUR

Challenge is right, i usually use lots of colour lol but not to be beaten here we go

I used Vintage Lady Stamp from Stamping Dragon and the Coffee Cream Paper Pack from Dragons Lair designs, i grey scaled the papers to suit the theme, and think it turned out quite good really , I hope you like please come and join us on the challenge :)

Mums 75th Birthday

It was my mums 75th birthday in July, what do you buy for them when they have it all ???

Now my mum didnt have many photo's from her youth and was always talking about it, sooo i decided to do somthing about it and made her a mini album with the photo's i could find, she was totally thrilled :)

Her parents went in the first page ( her mum died in childbirth)

 Followed by an early photo of her

 Then photo's of her and my dad who left us in 2000

 and her wedding

 some of her and me as a baby

I also inclided a tag with a dressmaking theme, as she trained as a seamstress, complete with a pair of scissors.
